Monday April 6, 2009:
1.  Make sure you have Scratch installed on your computer.  If not, go to :  http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Scratch_1.3.1_Download

2.  Once Scratch is installed, you should begin working through the Video Tutorials at the following website:
     a.  http://learnscratch.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=166&Itemid=251
     b.  Fill out the following check-sheet as you go through the lessons.
     c.  You will be given 3 days to complete all video tutorials.  Make WISE use of your time.
     d.  A project using ALL concepts learned will be assigned on Thursday.

1.  Go to the following website:  http://learnscratch.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=88
2.  Click on the following: Scratch 2, Unit 1, Lessons 1 -6.
3.  You will view and learn from the 6 lessons in Unit 1 of Scratch 2.
4.  Fill out the form as you view the tutorials.

Wednesday April 15, 2009:  "Happy Tax Day!"
1.   Create a project in Scratch that has 2 different sprites that talk to the user. 
2.  They should explain a school related concept.   

Thursday April 23, 2009:
1.  Complete Scratch 2 Unit 2 and 3 Lessons.
     - Check-off sheet is due today.
2.  Scratch Project Assigned.   It is story time in programming class!!!  

Your little sprites are going to reenact or tell their favorite childhood story.  I have sample books for you on the table.
